Many years ago, certain groups, such as priests and medical Doctors, spoke Latin amongst themselves when “talking shop“. This was because they felt that they were superior to other people, whom were “not worthy” of the knowledge they possessed.
Today, the same might often be said about those that work in technology. They know their stuff, but speak fluently in “Technobabble“, a separate language which normal, non-geeks, cannot always understand!
